In December 2018, SELFA Grzejnictwo Elektryczne S.A. completed the project titled “Establishment of the Research and Development Centre of Grzejnictwo Elektryczne Selfa GE” implemented as part of the Regional Operational Programme for Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship for years 2014–2020.

As part of the above project, the Research and Development Centre with a total area of
1400 m2 was built. The facility is equipped with a modern machine park designed to develop and implement process and product innovations related to the production of heating elements. In addition, the Centre has been equipped with modern laboratory equipment allowing a wide range of tests and research on industrial processes and electrical heating products.

As part of the previously adopted strategy – "Environmentally Friendly Company" – also on the roof of the Research and Development Centre, photovoltaic modules with a power of 17.6 kW have been installed.
