SELFA is a self-contained, Polish manufacturer of photovoltaic modules. The history of the project has begun in 2004., when SELFA Grzejnictwo Elektryczne (the largest Polish manufacturer of electric heating elements, with traditions that goes back to 1932.) received an inquiry for photovoltaic system.
Although SELFA GE was not offering PV modules back then, renewable energy sources issues were always close to both – company’s management and employees. SELFA GE became a consultant for investors interested in photovoltaic systems. As more inquiries for PV systems and PV modules were yet to come, SELFA GE started cooperation with European PV modules producer. PV modules and systems expanded SELFA’s range od offered products and services.
The experience gained as well, as European Union founding of the project results in 2011 with a decision to start production of PV modules based on multi- and monocrystalline silicone cells. Production held under SELFA PV banner, on the high-tech automated production line, with an initial capacity of 15MW per year.
SELFA PV, realizing and understanding the need to turn into renewable energy sources in Poland and worldwide, hoping for an increase of awareness with the support of the government (i.a. FIT’s – Feed-In-Tarrifs – widespread in the European Union) invites You for a cooperation!
